Bridge Team/pilot/tug master escorting course

The main purpose of training is to get knowledge and skills in escorting navigation of large- capacity vessels and special tugs and ability to apply these skills in different navigation conditions to provide safe navigation of large-capacity vessels, taking into consideration:

• specific navigational features of the area
• configuration of navigation channel, maneuvering and berthing areas
• specific features of navigation of chunky hull-vessels, vessels in ballast and deep-draft fully laden vessels in shallow waters during escort operations
• effective and safe operation of new tugs during all types of tug operations

Taking into consideration specifics of navigation area, escorting of vessels with exceptional maneuvering characteristics and modern methods of ASD tugs operation, this program is developed for training of pilots, escort tug masters and navigators. Number of trainees is 6 per group.
