Radio telephone operator

Training of navigators to principles of VHF radio telephone exchange conducting. After the completion of the courses participants should know: rules of VHF talk-back communication according to the Rules of radio communication of Marine mobile service of the Russian Federation, to know the list of international abbreviations being used in radio telephone exchange. 

The participants should be able to catty out the following activity:- to conduct radio exchange in force majeure situations, as for example at reception of a signal about disaster, a signal of promptness and safety, to carry out reception of the hydrometeorological information from various transmitting stations, to use the international phonetic alphabet.
