Electronic chart display information system (ECDIS)

Training of navigating personnel, leaving in sea navigation, to use of the advanced ship navigation aids. After the completion of courses the participants should know: the international and national requirements to electronic cartography, features of electronic charts, and the review of the problems solved. 

They should be able - to use PC software, to operate data on disks, to carry out search of necessary areas, to lay a route, to create and edit text files used in electronic charts; to conduct study of a vessel route, taking into account external factors.
