Engine Resource and Team Management (ERTM)

The main purpose of training on a modern Engine room simulator of engineers is improvement of their teamwork and obtaining of safe skills in work before entering a vessel. It is found that 80% of all sea emergency cases occur as a result of human factor. The course investigates the parity of human and organizational factors in keeping sea engineering watch, as well as effect of human mistake on the operator`s level. The given program is intended for training engine crew of the level of control and the level of operation.
