MARPOL 73/78 & OPA-90
The main purpose of the program is theoretical and practical training of deck and machine officers on prevention of pollution of sea environment from vessels and/or minimization of these polluting consequences. The course is based on requirements of the "MARPOL 73/78" International Convention and requirements of Federal Laws of the USA "US Oil Pollution Act 1990" and 33 CFR 155.1030 (Plan of reaction for vessels transporting oil, being the basic cargo).
